This Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing accounting processes to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. Responsibilities:
- General Ledger & Accounting: Oversee general accounting functions for multiple legal entities. Manage month-end close processes, including reviewing deadlines and monitoring internal and corporate reporting. Analyze accounting data and prepare/review monthly reconciliations. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records. Provide shared services on accounting financial reporting to subsidiaries. Coordinate internal and external audits and internal control fitchecks.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic closing reports and supporting schedules. Perform consolidation and prepare financial statements, ensuring compliance with all reporting and disclosure requirements. Responsible for financial reporting to corporate consolidation teams. Support and coordinate financial reporting of other subsidiaries.
- Government Contracting: Manage indirect rate allocation, including Fringe Benefit, Service Center Allocation, and G&A. Maintain data integrity in allocation base and pool for accurate cost allocation.
- Special Projects: Assist in process improvement projects, including SOP development and enhancement. Support M&A transactional analysis and system integration. Provide functional backup for tax, audit, and consolidation schedules.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Five years of accounting experience, including three years in Public Accounting or two years in Financial Reporting. - Two years' experience managing an accounting team.
- Experience with general ledger systems and reporting packages, specifically Costpoint.
- Working knowledge of government contracting and indirect rates.
- Experience with general ledger system, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data and manage financial statement audits.
