The Financial Systems Analyst administers the day-to-day defined procedures, analyses, and report preparations for the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function.
Job Description:
The Finance organization is responsible for leading and participating in many critical functions including: supporting executive management decision-making by analyzing results, assessing strategic alternatives, and developing strategic plans; communicating financial results and forecasts with critical stakeholders, including executive management and the Board of Directors, shareholders and regulators; managing the Company’s balance sheet, including interest rate and liquidity risks; establishes the Company’s capital policies and prioritizes investments; develops and implements controls to reduce operational risk; developing and maintaining financial data and systems. The Finance organization works across functions and Business lines in the Company, requiring a broad understanding of our business, risk, and strategy.
· Conducts financial and economic analysis and forecasting and evaluates alternate financial plans.
· Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of the Financial Management Information System against General Ledger
· Trend analysis to ensure the stability of the Financial Management Information System daily and month over month.
· Maintenance of queries in SAP Business Objects as needed.
· Create, load, and validate various management adjustments during the month-end close process.
· Documentation of processes, reconciliations, and management adjustments.
Job Responsibilities:
· Conducts and documents complex financial analysis projects.
· Provides support to the FP&A function as needed.
· Develops and implements adjustments to working methods.
· Will communicate with others to gather, confirm, and clarify information.
· Reconcile FMIS (Financials Management Information System) to Accounting General Ledger.
· Monthly management adjustments
· Communicate potential data issues in the FMIS system related to reconciliation and trend analysis.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience: Finance, Accounting, and/or Economics or equivalent field. – Required
Work Experience:
· 1+ years of Financial Planning, Analysis, Budgeting, or similar field.
· Open to entry-level if the candidate has the Excel skillset.
Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to research, organize, and analyze financial data.
· Basic knowledge of financial analysis procedures.
· Understand reconciliation concepts and techniques.
· Proficient data entry/analysis skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Access).
· Excel proficiency in Pivot tables and lookups.
· Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
· Ability to work well with teams as well as independently.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and projects according to departmental priorities.
· Comfort with detailed level data and summarizing for senior team members.
· Nice to have: Understanding BI query tools (Power BI, Business Objects, etc.)
