Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic team in Portland, OR. If you have a passion for building and craftsmanship, along with a solid background in woodworking and plumbing, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities
- Perform various construction tasks including woodworking and plumbing.
- Operate and maintain a variety of tools and machinery, including palm routers, manual grinders, and vertical mills.
- Cut, drill and assemble parts to accurate drawing specifications using tape measure, squares and levels.
- Install Drywall, Flooring, Doors and Fixtures.
- Utilize shop math skills to ensure accurate measurements and calculations.
- Safely operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in construction, specifically in woodworking and plumbing. This is not an entry level position, but requires knowledge of construction principales and skills.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using shop tools including calipers, micrometers, edge banders, sliding table saws, band saws, belt sanders, and router tables.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Salary info:
$30 - $35 / hr
