Finish Department/Production Helper at Manpower

Our client is seeking a finish assembler to join their team. As a finish assembler, you will be part of the assembly team supporting production. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools, work well alone or as part of a team and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Finish Assembler (1st shift)

Location: Monticello, Indiana

Pay Range: $16 - $18

What’s the Job?

• Assemble metal products
• Read blueprints
• Remove small quantities of metal with tools to produce a close fit
• Operate drill presses, punches or riveting machines
• Lead a small team if needed

What’s Needed?

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
• Use tools: tape measure, screwdrivers, wrench, file, grinder, drill, rivet gun
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend and lift/move 50 pounds
