Finxact - Senior Conversion Engineer
Finxact from Fiserv powers the next generation of financial services. Our platform is engineered from the ground up to meet the needs of financial institutions, fintech, and embedded finance today and wherever the future takes us.
What does a successful Senior Conversion Engineer do?
You will analyze and convert customer, account and financial data from multiple data sources to Finxact’ Core platform. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and partners to understand client banking products and configurations. You will analyze source schema and data and maintain, enhance, and execute conversion software to ensure smooth data conversion and system integration.
What you will do:
+ Analyze and convert data from various sources into the Finxact’ Core domain model
+ Collaborate with internal, client, and partner teams to understand banking products, configurations, and deconversion models and file formats
+ Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues during the conversion process
+ Enhance and maintain the Finxact conversion utility as needed
+ Review and maintain necessary documentation and artifacts to support the conversion process
What you will need to have:
+ 6-10 years of experience in conversion optimization with a strong track record of improving conversion rates
+ 3+ years of experience with Golang, RESTful services, Postgres/SQL, Swagger, JSON
+ 3+ years of experience with technical analysis, design, and development skills
+ 3+ years of experience with executing on time-sensitive project deliverables
+ 3+ years of experience extracting, transforming, loading data, ETL development
+ 3+ years of experience coordinating multiple tasks to completion with minimal supervision and under strict deadline
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work or military experience
What would be great to have:
+ 3+ years of hands-on financial industry experience in software application development for information technology, loan servicing, deposit operations, card processing, interface development, or CRM systems
+ 3+ years of experience in finance, banking or payments
This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
