Job Summary:
An established and family-oriented company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Alarm & Security System Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, electronic security systems, and CCTV systems. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and they will be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure. The salary offered will be dependent on candidate experience and licenses/certifications obtained.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems, electronic security systems, and CCTV systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests of fire alarm systems and components.
- Respond to emergency call-outs and repair faults.
- Ensure fire alarm systems are compliant with current regulations.
- Provide technical support to customers.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in electronics or a related field.
- PLT License or Technician Certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm, electronic security, and CCTV systems.
- Strong understanding of fire alarm codes and regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
