POSITION SUMMARY
The Branch Manager at Ironsmith Fire oversees all operations of the designated branch, including sales, customer service, project management, and administration. The role will be pivotal in ensuring the branch's profitability, efficiency, and alignment with our company's mission, vision, and values. One must be a strong leader with the ability to build a team striving for operational excellence; ensuring the branch delivers top-tier fire protection solutions to its customers. The Branch Manager must be able to effectively communicate the organization's vision to align the team to guide the regional operations towards achieving the company's strategic objectives. Conducting business with integrity and upholding our core values is imperative as you are the leading example to your team. Ultimately, the Branch Manager is responsible for the branch location's Profit and Loss Statement (P&L), and maintaining the culture of ONE Ironsmith Fire. The Branch Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
OBJECTIVES
- Drive the branch towards achieving and exceeding sales and profitability targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets. Analize local market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly. Ensure the highest standards of operational practices, adhering to safety, regulatory, and company guidelines.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff, promoting a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and dedication to customer service.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
- Set and embody the corporate values, creating a strong and positive company culture. Lead by example to instill values throughout the branch, fostering an environment of integrity, excellence, and respect.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring our services exceed their expectations.
- Act as the final point of contact for key clients in your market, resolving issues promptly and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee local operations, ensuring the efficient, quality, and cost-effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with the branch's core leadership team to develop and improve detailed operational processes, systems, and standards, driving Ironsmith Fire's commitment to be a systems ran organization.
- Cultivate, inspire, and lead a high-performing team.
- Promote a culture of success, accountability, and mutual respect.
- Mentor and motivate team members to ensure they adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and discipline.
- Foster open and transparent communication channels within the team, promoting trust and collaboration.
- Collaborate core leadership to develop detailed action plans to achieve strategic goals. Effectively communicate goals, expectations, and timelines clearly to core leadership, ensuring alignment and accountability.
- Hiring team members and terminating employees in positions you are overseeing, as needed.
- Work closely with executive management to ensure strategic goals are on track, measuring performance with key performance indicators (KPI's) and metrics to drive growth.
- Implement corrective actions promptly to address any performance issues and prevent reoccurrence.
- Prioritize safety, fostering a culture of safety consciousness and accountability among field crews.
- Authorize outside / third party training for employees, and approve training that will be reimbursed or rewarded.
- Oversee the organization of any branch level company gatherings (i.e. year end parties, spring picnics, fishing tournaments, etc.).
- Must have and keep current any certifications and state licensing required to sign permit applications and register with jurisdictions within your territory.
- Develop and maintain a relationship with key fire and building officials in the primary jurisdictions within your territory.
- Attend and participate in local area interest meetings, that pertain to the fire protection industry.
- Promote the fire protection / life safety industry by establishing a presence in trade associations at the Local and State levels, adhering to the company's mission To lead the fire protection industry by honoring craftsmanship, saving lives and property, and bringing peace of mind to our customers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or a closely related field is preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 5-years in senior leadership positions within the fire protection industry. Demonstrated success in achieving sales and business goals.
- Comprehensive understanding of the fire protection industry and applicable regulations. Experience in managing contractor operations, including project management, regulatory compliance, and customer relations.
- Professional certifications related to fire protection, business management, or leadership are advantageous, such as NICET Certification.

- Physical and mental resilience to handle the pressures and stress of leadership, including making tough decisions and dealing with challenging situations.
- While primarily a skill, the physical aspect includes the ability to speak clearly and effectively in public and private settings, and to engage in face-to-face meetings. Good general health to fulfill job responsibilities effectively, including being able to work long hours when necessary.
