**Fire Protection Estimator**
Are you a skilled Fire Protection Estimator with a passion for precision and accuracy? Do you have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or several years of hands-on experience in estimating fire sprinkler/alarm systems? If so, we want you to hear from you!
Position Overview:
As a Fire Protection Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by providing accurate and detailed estimates for fire sprinkler/alarm system installations. Your expertise in the field, knowledge of industry standards, and ability to use CAD/BIM software will contribute to our project planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates for fire sprinkler/alarm systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate estimation of materials, labor, and project timelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure estimates align with the latest standards.
- Utilize CAD/BIM software to create accurate designs and estimates.
- Prepare detailed and competitive bids for prospective projects.
- Maintain clear and organized records of estimates and related documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preparing estimates in the Fire Alarm/Sprinkler systems field.
- Strong knowledge of the fire protection industry, including codes and standards.
- CAD/BIM experience is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
