About the Job
Control Systems, Inc is actively seeking a skilled Sprinkler Inspections Technician to join our growing team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will play a crucial part in inspecting structures equipped with Fire Sprinkler Systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Perform cost-effective inspections of structures with Fire Sprinkler Systems.
Accurately complete all documentation related to inspections.
Develop a working knowledge of relevant NFPA standards and common materials and installation processes.
Obtain and maintain an Arizona Backflow License.
Conduct thorough inspections of sprinkler systems and associated components, including Wet, Dry, Fire Pumps, Pre-action, Deluge, Antifreeze Loops, backflows, etc.
Cross-train to acquire additional licensing duties.
Knowledge:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Required NICET level 2 or higher
Strong understanding of materials, tools, equipment, and installation procedures, with a working knowledge of NFPA standards.
Current and clear Arizona driver's license, a clean driving record, and a clear criminal background.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience (install/service experience is a plus). Skills and Competencies:
Ability to take direction from upper management.
Accurate completion and maintenance of all paperwork.
Adherence to company policies regarding vehicle and tool maintenance.
Valid state driver's license and a good driving record.
Willingness and ability to perform testing and maintenance.
Identification and notation of inspection deficiencies and required corrective service.
Effective team collaboration and ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
Capability to work independently with moderate supervision.
Strong customer service skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Maintenance of a clean and safe work environment.
