Fire Sprinkler Inspector - CSI Job Opportunities

Control Systems, Inc is actively seeking a skilled Sprinkler Inspections Technician to join our growing team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will play a crucial part in inspecting structures equipped with Fire Sprinkler Systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.  

Responsibilities: 

• Perform cost-effective inspections of structures with Fire Sprinkler Systems. 

• Accurately complete all documentation related to inspections. 

• Develop a working knowledge of relevant NFPA standards and common materials and installation processes. 

• Obtain and maintain an Arizona Backflow License.  

• Conduct thorough inspections of sprinkler systems and associated components, including Wet, Dry, Fire Pumps, Pre-action, Deluge, Antifreeze Loops, backflows, etc. 

• Cross-train to acquire additional licensing duties. 

Knowledge: 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent. 

• Required NICET level 2 or higher  

• Strong understanding of materials, tools, equipment, and installation procedures, with a working knowledge of NFPA standards. 

• Current and clear Arizona driver's license, a clean driving record, and a clear criminal background. 

Experience: 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience (install/service experience is a plus). Skills and Competencies: 

• Ability to take direction from upper management. 

• Accurate completion and maintenance of all paperwork. 

• Adherence to company policies regarding vehicle and tool maintenance. 

• Valid state driver's license and a good driving record. 

• Willingness and ability to perform testing and maintenance. 

• Identification and notation of inspection deficiencies and required corrective service. 

• Effective team collaboration and ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines. 

• Capability to work independently with moderate supervision. 

• Strong customer service skills. 

• Meticulous attention to detail. 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

• Maintenance of a clean and safe work environment.
