Firmware Engineer - Astrodyne TDI

Astrodyne TDI is seeking innovative Firmware Engineers to join our dynamic team! If you're passionate about embedded firmware and hardware design and have a background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, this is your opportunity to shine.

What You'll Do:

• Work on cutting-edge projects, creating and maintaining firmware for 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers using "C" in bare-metal applications.
• Use advanced tools like in-circuit debuggers and logic analyzers to refine and optimize our designs.
• Partner with power supply engineers to solve system-level challenges and provide insights to other teams.
• Conduct system design verification and validation testing, and prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science 
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in hardware or software development.
• Proficient with microcontroller hardware, programming languages (C, Java, JavaScript), and communication protocols (CAN, TCP/IP, USB, SPI, I2C, UART).
• Knowledge of Git, real-time control concepts, and middleware toolchains like LWIP and TI Tiva-ware.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics abilities, with hands-on breadboarding and circuit prototyping skills.
