Club Role - Fitness Director (FD)

Job Summary
The Fitness Director (FD) is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Personal Training department, including trainers’ performance, client retention, and revenue goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Pursue sales leads and hit or exceed monthly goals
● Create connections with potential clients and close deals
● Generate brand awareness inside and outside the facility
● Attend events to promote our brand and your team
● Access new client needs and assign them to compatible trainers
● Communicate clearly and effectively with current and future clients
● Address client concern with tact
● Create accurate contracts within company system
● Oversee and guide your team of experienced trainers to success
● Interview, evaluate, and select new trainers to fill vacancies
● Monitor team schedule to ensure accurate reporting
● Promote best industry practices and train staff members as necessary
● Other duties as assigned
Compensation
● Full time employee
● $35k-$65k salary with bonuses
● Full time benefits eligible

Qualifications
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Bachelor’s degree - Kinesiology or Exercise Science (preferred)
● Sales experience - 2+ years (preferred)
● Personal Training experience - 2+ years (preferred)
● Supervising experience - 2+ years (preferred)
● Professional personal training certification (required)
○ NASM, ISSA, ACE, NCCPT, NFPT, ACSM, NESTA, CSCS
● CPR/AED certification (preferred)
● Must be a leader and team player
● Strong communication skills
● Strong sales and business acumen
