Fixture Installer - Apollo

About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Complete department resets, remodels, and new store setups with custom fixture assembly requirements
- Build gondolas, H Frame warehouse racking, and other specialty fixtures on the main store floor and/or backroom warehouse
- Complex merchandising-related tasks such as stock placement to planogram reset, resetting metal shelves, setting an end cap to planogram
- Read and follow installation documents, including guides and manuals like planograms, modular and fixture layout documents
- Maintain retailer-specific online certifications
- Demonstrate safe usage of fixture installer tools including but not limited to: a cordless drill, a hammer drill, a tape measure, a level, various screwdriver types, rubber mallet, etc.
- Read and interpret store blueprints and plans
- Use construction knowledge to determine the best methods of installation, work procedures, and material and tool requirements
- Arrive on time and work scheduled hours, which may include both overnight and day shifts per client requirements and shift lengths lasting 8 to 10+ hours (shift length will vary by project)
- Adapt to changing work schedule
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to multiple locations in a designated area or region (dependent on market location) for 1 to 6 weeks at time
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and Apollo management team (good communication = more shifts)
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the day.
- Ability to read diagrams or instructions, process instructions, and use personal hand tools or power tools as necessary
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools or power tools as necessary
- Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Must be 18 years or older
- Paid training
- Paid mileage, travel pay, and hotel accommodations with per diem for travelers when applicable
- Assignments can range from 0-40 hours per week based on volume, how far you are willing to travel, and willingness to accept various other projects offered
- Paid weekly
- W2 Employment
- $16-$17 per hour
