The Construction Fleet Administrator supports the Fleet Department by performs administrative functions including developing and typing written correspondence, reports, and other forms of written communication, participates in one or more administrative functions such as developing complex spreadsheet reports, accounts payable, and journal entries.

Highlights of what our Construction Fleet Administrator will do:

• Prepares various confidential departmental reports as assigned by management, collects information, and compiles them into standard or non-standard format, prints, proofs, and distributes to appropriate company personnel.
• Assists with DMV vehicle registrations, licensing, and regulations
• Assists with the administration of the fuel tracking system and reports of employee usage
• Oversees operations of rental equipment including allocation to jobs for daily costing
• Assist with equipment rentals and managing shop inventory
• Process purchase orders for shop supplies/inventory and equipment rentals
• Supports in other areas as required and assists with special projects as necessary

Are you the right fit for this role? Skills & experience that are necessary as a Construction Fleet Administrator will include, but not limited to:

• High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not a requirement
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Knowledge of basic formulas, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables)
• Knowledge and experience with Sage/Timberline, Paperless, and/or Fleetio is a plus
• Adaptable to changes in the work environment with the ability to manage competing demands or unexpected events in a very fast-paced environment
