Job Summary
The Fleet Associate is responsible for performing a variety of job duties including but not limited to, driver qualification file creation, adjudication, on-going maintenance, and compliance adhering to FMCSA and Company regulations, providing support and expertise for the new hire Onboarding process as required to resolve issues and develop process improvement. Supports the Fleet Services with administrative and other support as required.
Individual will play an instrumental role in continuous Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) monitoring to capture and communicate policy concerns/violations to key stakeholders for remediation and resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Daily review, adjudication and uploading of driver qualification file related documents.
- Acts as liaison with Recruiting Team, Office Admins and hiring managers to educate, monitor and correct driver qualification file issues by driver type.
- Identify areas of improvement that benefit all stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Make every effort to capture and input all data points ensuring its accuracy for reporting.
- Manage/maintain the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements, manual query processing and Limited Query consent form capturing and storage for new hires to ensure compliance.
- Provide continuous MVR monitoring support to reach desired outcomes.
- Perform other “Fleet” duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel.
- Working knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations.
- Basic understanding of MVRs.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Posses a sense of urgency.
- Strong social / interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate office equipment.
Preferred
- 3 or more years of experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners.
