Provides management support with complex fleet asset management functions such as fleet equipment planning, forecasting, vendor performance, and optimal utilization of fleet assets needed for BV. Works as a liaison between BV Fleet Operations, Procurement, projects, and suppliers to ensure efficient fleet operations support to the organization overall. Assists with rental and purchase agreement reviews, vendor performance and compliance, ensuring BV receives value for asset purchases and rental needs overall. Aligns BV asset standardization with manufacture value, performance, and supports asset standardization across the organization overall. #LI-KC1 #FleetManager RentalManager #Construction
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for fleet equipment project planning to ensure forecasting of owned equipment and rental needs are met. • Aligns with forecasting teams, Fleet Asset Manager, and procurement staff to review potential incoming work to BV. • Reviews and assigns owned assets in the forecast planning process. • Manages all equipment rentals across all business sectors to ensure proper planning and forecasting of rental requirements. • Works with rental companies to supply forecasting of BV rental needs. • Oversees the overall equipment plans and coordinates with BV Fleet, field procurement, and project site professionals. • Works closely with the Fleet Asset Manager to supply rental information to be evaluated for capital planning and purchasing. • Supplies rental utilization to BV Fleet, SSA, and project leadership to set utilization targets. • Reviews monthly rental reports to ensure proper utilization targets are met. • Aligns with Fleet Site Manger to ensure all applicable DOT compliance are met, with owned and rented assets. • Supports the creation of service level agreements with BV Fleet, site, and project management. • Assists with the creation of service level agreements, to ensure proper billing, maintenance, utilization, and asset review are documented, reviewed, and agreed to by BV Fleet and the projects supported. • Ensures rental companies are complying with the agreements with Black and Veatch. • Manages the sampling of invoices to ensure billing is in accordance with rental agreements. • Ensures projects are documenting events in the fleet asset, project, and or procurement systems. • Supervises, trains, and evaluates assigned staff in equipment and rental management. • Related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical/ Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
• Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
•Construction Fleet Management experience
• Global experience preferred.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum seven (7) years relevant experience without a degree.
