Job Description Title: Fleet Fencing InstallerDepartment/Division: Fleet MaintenanceStatus: Full-Time / HourlySupervisor: Fleet ManagerSubordinates: None Position Summary:Under the direction of the Fleet Manager, the Fleet Fencing Installer will be responsible for numerous and varied routine duties involved in the overall care, maintenance, and general operation of all fencing under the Pala Fleet Maintenance Department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Be able to install all types of fencing. Chain link, Vinyl, Wood, Rod Iron, etc.Able to build gates, horse panels, stablesLift and mix bags of concrete by handWork in the shop on projects as assignedWork out in the field on fence projects as assignedWork with minimum supervision at timesPerform job duties in a way that promotes a positive image of the departments and the Pala Band of Mission Indians.Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge, skills, Certifications, and abilities:Knowledge of welding and fabricating metalKnowledge of using Welders, Torches, Plasma Cutter, Drill Press, Chop Saw, Pipe Notcher, Tubing BenderAbility to operate a Bobcat and Auger MachineAbility to operate a ForkliftAbility to follow directions and follow through with work assignmentsMinimum Qualifications:High School graduate or equivalent education (GED) or related fieldsMust pass pre-employment and random drug testing during employment.Must acknowledge and agree to maintain a Drug-Free workplace (including marijuana) as a condition of employment with the Pala Band of Mission Indians. Must be able to pass a background check.Must have a valid class “C” driver’s license and have a clean driving record.Indian Preference will apply.
