Job Overview: Join our team as a Fleet Mechanic where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment. We are seeking a skilled individual with expertise in automotive repair and maintenance. Duties: · You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our extensive inventory of machinery and tools · Range of knowledge; Gas vehicles, skid steers, excavators', generators, and landscaping equipment. You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment and our fleet vehicles, ensuring they're always in top condition for our customers' needs. · Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on a diverse range of equipment, including large machinery and small tools · Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, ranging from basic tune-ups to complex component replacements, to keep equipment in optimal working condition · Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently, utilizing diagnostic tools and your expertise to identify root causes and implement effective solutions · Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and rental regulations · Collaborate with team members to prioritize workload and ensure timely completion of repairs, minimizing downtime for rented equipment · Provide excellent customer service, offering guidance and assistance to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance. Qualifications: · Proven experience as a mechanic; preferably with gas and diesel engines, light duty to HD vehicles · Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems · Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment · Ability to perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively, minimizing equipment downtime · Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation · Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members · Valid driver's license and clean driving record If you are a skilled Fleet Mechanic looking to join a dynamic team, apply now to be part of our growing organization.
