Job Summary:
As the Fleet and Safety Coordinator, you will manage and oversee all administrative processes related to fleet and safety operations. This vital role ensures that our delivery operations run smoothly and efficiently while complying with safety standards. You will collaborate with field teams to build strong relationships, ensuring effective communication and support for operational needs. Additionally, you will complete various administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records, developing safety protocols, and analyzing fleet performance data to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, and compliance with industry regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and repairs.
* Track and manage company assets (vehicles, equipment, tanks, tools), including scheduling repairs and conducting regular inspections and audits.
* Assist with asset procurement and disposal.
* Ensure fleet operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
* Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for company operations.
* Generate reports related to safety and fleet operations, analyzing data and communicating with field teams.
* Foster a culture of safety excellence across the organization by encouraging employee participation and recognizing achievements.
* Prepare and present reports on fleet performance, costs, and key metrics.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting for fleet-related expenses.
* Handle administrative tasks related to fleet, safety, and company assets.
* Estimated 5-10% travel for day trips may be required.

Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
* Proven experience in fleet management, safety management, or similar roles.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and industry regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, fleet management software, and other relevant applications.
* Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
