Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday

About Us:

Cass County Electric Cooperative is seeking a dedicated Fleet Technician to join our team at our headquarters in Fargo, ND. This position has become available due to an upcoming retirement, and we are excited to find a qualified candidate who shares our commitment to service and safety.

Position Overview:

As a Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet vehicles. You will also manage the inventory of parts and supplies to ensure our vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for employee use. A key aspect of this role includes maintaining a clean and safe maintenance area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles.

- Monitor and manage inventory of parts and supplies.

- Ensure all vehicles are in safe and operable condition.

- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance environment.

Qualifications:

- Two-year technical degree in automotive/diesel mechanics or a related field. (Progressive job experience may substitute for part of the educational requirements.)

- Working knowledge of utility and heavy equipment.

- Preferred experience in automotive, diesel, or hydraulic mechanics.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
