A flex officer, also known as a security flex officer, is responsible for the safety and security of a facility. Their duties include: 

• Patrolling: Patrolling a specific site, such as a mall or neighborhood, on foot or in a vehicle 
• Reporting: Reporting suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts to the proper authorities
• Providing assistance: Providing emergency assistance, such as responding to fires, medical emergencies, or bomb threats 
• Enforcing regulations: Enforcing regulations and directives for the site, such as controlling access to the facility 
• Maintaining order: Preserving order and acting to enforce regulations 
• Preparing reports: Preparing logs and reports as required +

 **Must have open availabilty, great customer service, basic computer literacy** 

Qualifications: 

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High school degree or equivalent
• Active non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience 
• Minimum of one year of security experience 
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
