In this position...
Automation (Paint delivery; Launch and Paint Operations) In-depth knowledge of GUI / HMI logic and controls (RSLogix, Mitsubishi , Rockwell and GOT’s, Bradley Panel Views). Use and programming AB Servo and AB VFD drives. Familiarity with VFD’s, network/Ethernet controls, DH+, Robots including Fanuc and ABB . Electrical or electrician background; AC & DC circuitry. Familiarity with paint application and mix room equipment.
What you'll do...
+ Use FIS Plant monitoring software to review faults and cycle times of automation, review and follow up automation project's and installations
+ Use QLS Plant Quality software to review quality concerns and assist with cut-offs and resolutions
+ Troubleshoot PLC issues, Robot Application issues and other critical imputes to the Sealing and Painting Process
+ Review prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics
+ Update program backups for automation
+ Program new installations for Paint Automation and conveyor systems
+ Reprogram automation for engineering changes, thru-put and quality improvements
+ Coordinate automation repairs and use Maximo to generate CWO and 4D’s accordingly
+ Understand/monitor and adjust spray booth conditions to ensure Quality Targets are achieved .
You'll have...
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 1+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
+ 1+ years of experience with PLC logic and controls programs
Even better, you may have...
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
+ 3+ years of Fanuc or ABB Robot Programming/Application experience
+ 1+ year of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
+ 1+ year of experience working with the following Lean Tools – 5S, Kanban, Poke-yoke, and Value Stream Mapping
+ 1+ years Microsoft Office experience to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
+ Prior experience reviewing prints, using AutoCAD, and interpreting and modifying electrical schematics
+ Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
+ This role will be assigned to shift upon hire. Employee may be assigned to a 12-hour day or 12-hour night shift (no swing shifts) and the shift rotates from day to night every few months. Employee is required to also work weekends and holidays as needed.
