Floor Tech (Evening) - Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

Floor Technicians are an integral part the environmental services team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day. As a Floor Tech you are responsible for providing a full range of environmental services including:

·         Following a rotation schedule to deep clean resident rooms which includes striping, waxing and buffing floors.

·         Maintaining floors in the dining room, activity room, resident lounges as well as the reception and other common areas.

·         Inventorying cleaning solutions, wax, stripping/buffing pads, etc. and notifying supervisor of items and quantities needed to be ordered.

·         Maintaining equipment and notifying the supervisor when repairs need to be made.

Required qualifications:

• One year of experience working as a Floor Tech or Housekeeping Aide  preferably in a healthcare facility.
• Attention to detail with initiative to follow through on assignments with little supervision.
• Proven ability to work well within a team as well as independently
• Excellent customer service skills along with good interpersonal and communication skills
