JOB SUMMARY:
- Maintains the cleanliness of the facility to meet client satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to perform major janitorial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, wet mopping and using Autos scrubber to clean floors.
- Clean Glass Handrail
- Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends as necessary to meet events and facility schedules.
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs frequently and perform regular bending and standing as needed in a daily shift.
- Performs other related duties as required.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives supervision from the Operations Manager. The position has no formal assigned supervisory responsibility or authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor and/or outdoor environment. Works stand and walk for prolonged periods while cleaning and/or sanitizing the work area. Steps, stoops, crawls, climbs, lifts, bends, kneels, pulls, and pushes while performing job duties such as heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 55 pounds. Physical work is a primary part of the job. The work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, cleaning chemicals, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to the DLP Services, Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must have transportation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Effective interpersonal/communication skills.
- Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
- Ability to understand verbal instructions.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. Effective grooming skills.
- Ability to operate vacuums and other related equipment.
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to lift, push/pull and manipulate heavy objects up to 55 pounds.
Other:
Valid Drivers’ License Class C.
