Floor Technician Supervisor - Overnight
Pay Rate - $70,000 a year
BASIC FUNCTION
Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is seeking to hire a Floor Technician Supervisor. The Floor Technician Supervisor oversees tasks, jobs, work areas, and/or workers. They assist with deploying workers and handle all administrative responsibilities for the assigned shift. Their duties include sweeping, mopping, stripping, scrubbing, finishing, and buffing all hard floors and corridors, as well as stripping and sealing floors and corridors, restroom floors, and maintaining carpets by vacuuming, shampooing, extracting, and spot cleaning.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
The Floor Technician Supervisor reports to the Post Event Manager.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES

Leads and assists in the training of new employees.

Helps prepare all equipment needed before deployment.

Familiarize themselves with company and facility working policies and procedures.

Informs team about company and facility cleaning policies and procedures including all safety standards.

Helps with the cleaning, organizing, and management of janitors’ closets in the Post Event Manager's absence.

Inspects equipment to verify that team members are using and maintaining this equipment in good order.

Conducts nightly inspections of assigned work areas and reports to their manager the status of these areas.

Expected to help team members complete their work assignments in a timely manner.

Vacuum carpeted areas, check all staircases, check for stains on carpet, shampoo or extract carpet as necessary, clean all door threshold and kick plates, dust/mop concrete back of the house floor from stage door to loading dock, wet mops along the edges, scrubs & buffs all floors, clean the elevator tracks, clean all elevator doors and elevator interiors, clean front of house walls as needed, and keep loading dock area clean.

Inspects and cleans all corners by hand that power cleaning equipment cannot reach.

Complete all other duties as assigned by their Post Event Manager.

Cover any position as needed (day off).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-
Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
-
Must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
-
Must be able to climb up and down a ladder.
-
Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.

Reliable Transportation.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Janitor/Cleaning experience is a plus.

Floor Technician experience is a plus.
-
Supervisor/Manager experience is a plus.

Bilingual (Spanish/English)
