Job Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities are based upon experience level for Fluid Ink positions
- Meet customer demands and deadlines for Fluid Ink initiatives
- Finished good products –ink jet specific
- Build production inks to support customer demands
- Interpretation and execution of Fluid Ink schedule for inkmaking and finished goods
- Prepare aqueous inks including all quality control testing and documentation
- Familiarity and operation of all Fluid Ink filling equipment
- Working knowledge of mechanical equipment including but not limited to the lathe and drill press
- Review and recommend updates to current work instructions and SOP’s
- Assist with troubleshooting issues with current inkjet inkmaking and packaging processes and proactively try to eliminate and communicate issues to ME, MFG, QA, Maintenance, etc.
- Assist with training on best practices and implementation of new and existing processes
- Assist with inventory control, equipment monitoring and cleaning
- Maintain a level of housekeeping and organization, indicative of a “showcase”for customers
- Able to work with cross-functional team including Engineering, Manufacturing, QA, Supervision
- Travel may be necessary early on in the development of this role as well as future inkjet acquisitions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year ink processing experience
- Associates Degree preferred
- A self-starter a must when working with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Mechanical aptitude for general maintenance and set-up of inkmaking and filling equipment required
- Ability to understand specifications, identify products and follow work instructions and recipes
- Problem solving abilities
- Possess positive, organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with various departmental personnel including R&D, maintenance, engineering, planning, as well as inkjet specific customer tours
- Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Solid PC skills to include MS Office and internal programs
