Ideal Candidate
We currently have an exciting opportunity a Food & Beverage Manager. We are actively looking to meet the best and brightest talent that the hospitality industry has to offer.
Food & Beverage Manager will manage the daily operation of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets primarily the L-bar, Vivo Restautant, Room Service, and our Concierge lounge. Ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of F&B Management and experience, preferably in a hotel. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early AM, late PM, weekends and holidays as business needs dictate. This position reports to the Director of Operations.
Job Description|Requirements
- 2 years of Food & Beverage Management experience
- Hotel experience is strongly preferred
Ensure compliance with all Marriott and Waterford policies and procedures with respect to the Food & Beverage department, as well as all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Leading, coaching and developing associates in all areas of the Food & Beverage department
- Extensive knowledge of Beverage and Food steps of service, food quality, and consistency.
- Extensive Bar knowledge
- Experience with menu development
- Experience of inventory, labor and cost control
- Identify guest needs, and respond proactively to all concerns
- Strong motivation and leadership skills
- Strong communication, follow up, and accountability skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong Organization and time management skills
- Must be able to coordinate and execute with the team a fine dining experience for any private events held in our private dining room
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs, (Microsoft Office 365, Restaurant Management software, such as Micros Symphony)
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- ServSafe and TIPS Certification necessary
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- You must be able to pass a thorough background check as well as be drug free.
