As the Leader of the team and restaurant, you are the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. The Food & Beverage Manager oversees all aspects of food and beverage operations, including outlets and banquets. The F & B Manager will work closely with Chef to achieve high score of food and service quality. Responsible for budgets and cost control measures, quality standards, guest satisfaction and associate satisfaction. This individual will need to be quick on their feet and have an engaging attitude. Your main role is ensuring each guest feels WELCOME, CARED FOR AND VALUED! Your guests know they have escaped to paradise! This is "YOUR" opportunity to grow and learn at a world-class property! • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, direct and motivate supervisors and associates. Must be experienced with cost controls, financial controls, profit and loss statements, etc.
• Direct and participate the functions of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
• Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs among all departments.
• Maintain high standards of food & beverage quality, service & marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
• Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction of the Food & Beverage operations.
• Assist in the recruiting of high quality personnel and manage the development, motivation and retention of staff. QUALIFICATIONS:
• Successful individuals must be available to work flexible schedules and have proven track records as effective trainers, coaches and motivators.
• Must be able to read menus.
• Must be able to hear well in a loud environment in order to answer telephone and respond to Guest requests.
• Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and wipe.
• Must be able to carry trays or supplies (10-30 lbs.)
• A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team.
• Passion for providing extraordinary service.
