Responsibilities:- Supervise and mentor baristas, bartenders, and support staff, ensuring they deliver impeccable service and adhere to resort standards.
- Oversee all aspects of lobby bar and marketplace operations, including staffing, inventory management, ordering, and stocking, to maintain high-quality service and uphold brand standards.
- Verify all Grab & Go product expiration dates and ensuring proper rotation of products.
- Create coffee art programming.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menu offerings, ensuring they reflect current trends and guest preferences.
- Train and coach staff on coffee preparation techniques, cocktail recipes, and customer service best practices to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue.
- Monitor beverage quality and presentation, provide feedback and guidance to ensure consistency and excellence in drink preparation.
- Manage guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed guest expectations and resolve issues to their satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby bar and coffee shop, including bar tops, equipment, and seating areas, in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures, service protocols, and training materials to maintain consistency and excellence in service.
- Collaborate with other resort departments, such as food and beverage, culinary, and guest services, to enhance the overall guest experience and drive revenue opportunities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality management or related field is a plus.
- 1-2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within a AAA Four Diamond/Four Star hotel or resort lobby bar and/or coffee shop environment.
- Must be at least 21-years of age.
- Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage service standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of bar operations and expertise in a wide variety of liquors.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid TIPS and Food Handler’s Card are required upon hire.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
