SUMMARY:
The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the food and beverage department, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and that staff performs efficiently. This role involves coordinating service activities, managing staff, and maintaining quality standards to enhance the overall dining experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise and train food and beverage staff, ensuring adherence to service standards.
- Assist in managing daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and order processing.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or complaints.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of service improvement strategies.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, feedback, and training opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage service, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends, menu items, and service techniques.
