Provide quick, friendly and personal service by introducing oneself to the party, inquiring as to seating preferences and seating guests at tables according to their needs and to server rotation schedule, ensuring that servers receive an appropriate number of tables to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
Engage guests by answering questions about menu items, making suggestions or recommendations upon request and responding to complaints in order practice the highest standards of WE ROCK guest service.
Receive beverage orders from guests and bring ordered items promptly; ensure that guests are continuously supplied with water, coffee, beverage refills, butter and other condiments to assist servers in the provision of excellent guest service.
Receive and record dining reservations and "to go" orders by responding to telephone calls promptly and answering inquiries or transferring calls, as appropriate, to enhance the dining experience.
Ensure that guests are charged appropriately by reviewing dining checks for accuracy and correctly processing monetary transactions by following cash handling procedures and cash register policies so that cash collected balances with items sold at the end of the shift.
Ensure that funds are balanced at the beginning and end of shift by physically counting money to complete cash drawer accounting and validate the accuracy of transactions during the shift.
Respond to guests' questions, using the Quick Reference Guide, providing information about casino gaming promotions, special and other events and/or programs in order to assist guests, advertise marketing campaigns and encourage guest attendance and participation.
Respond to public inquiries in a courteous manner to provide information within the area of assignment.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide training and oversight to less experienced staff.
Maintain clean and orderly counter/checkout areas by performing the full range of setup, clean up and closing duties on the assigned shift.
Assist bus persons with stocking and removing dishware, glassware and flatware, cleaning and resetting vacated tables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
