Food Distribution Specialist – TEMP POSITION – HURRICANE SUPPORT

Job Description:

• Provide meals, snacks, and water for residents and staff.
• Ensure that necessary resources for food service are available.
• Plan for and manage the preparation and service of meals and snacks.
• Receive, check, store, and issue food supplies and equipment
• Pick up and deliver food and supplies
• Prepare and process various paperwork related to receiving
• Purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory.
• Perform related duties assigned.
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal relationship skills with diverse participants
• Prioritizes customer service, customer experience, cleanliness

Requirements:

• Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform assigned tasks/be drug-free.

Labor Rates: The following rates include labor wages, lodging, per diem, and travel. The labor rate is inclusive of straight time and overtime.

Food Distribution Specialist $41.00/hr.

Each applicant interested in supporting in Louisiana will need deployment and arrive at the designed site within 24 hours - 48 hours from the time of notice. Each applicant will need to complete their onboarding packet. It is uncertain as to the locations where personnel will be needed but will be located at a staging area established by the Department of Children and Family Services Deployments or other State agencies in various regions of the state.
