Food Operations Manager 2 - Sodexo

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley located in Haverhill, MA.  In this role, you will report to the Food GM, and be part of the leadership team overseeing a team of approximately 30 culinary and food service workers.  The Food Operations Manager will support all patient, retail and catering needs.  The manager works primarily Monday-Friday, with a varying schedule, including any  rotational weekend or holiday coverage as needed.

Holy Family Hospital is a 310-bed full service, acute care hospital with two campuses located in Methuen and Haverhill, Massachusetts. Both locations provide comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatients, and 24.7 emergency services, including eICUs, behavioral health units, cardiac telemetry and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and  joint Center of Excellence named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

The successful candidate will:

• coordinate all required tasks, and managing scheduling through frontline staff
• deliver high quality food services including retail, patient meal management, and catering
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals
• ensure compliance with HACCP, regulatory and Sodexo standards
• have daily interaction with fellow managers and clinical team to ensure patient satisfaction

• demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC), Sodexo Menu Graphics (SMG), Catetrax and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This section does not apply to external candidates.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
