Food Production Manager 3 - Sodexo

Sodexo is currently seeking a Food Production Manager - 3 to join our Government Services team atMarine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. The Production Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of all culinary operations for one of it's Mess Halls.

The successful candidate will:

• Have 3-5 years operational management experience in a high-volume food service dining environment.
• Be a people person with a strong focus with maintaining positive client relations; a solid manager/leader who is perceptive and has attention to details that make a difference quality and presentation of food customer service
• Be SERVICE focused including providing excellent customer service in a welcoming dining environment.
• Be proficient in use of online Food Management Systems for menu/recipe planning, ordering and inventory;
• Demonstrate proven financial acumen/success: Food costs/ labor costs, budgets.

• have contract food service experience, preferred;

• have food service experience in a high-end establishment, preferred;
• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and have a passion for a high level of customer service; and/or
• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
