We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality assurance program to ensure food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in all aspects of production.
- Lead the development and execution of the Food Safety and Quality Assurance strategy, aligning with the company's overall business strategy.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement initiatives and resolve quality issues.
- Oversee the training of employees on food safety and quality standards, as well as on the use of quality tools and principles.
- Monitor and review the performance of suppliers and raw materials to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, customers, and third-party auditors.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest food safety and quality trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the Food Manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety principles, HACCP, and quality assurance systems.
- Proven experience in managing quality systems and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and quality management systems software.
- Certified in Food Safety (such as ServSafe Manager) is a plus.
