As the Food Safety Quality Management Analyst, you'll be responsible for administering the quality program in accordance with applicable management system standards, customer, and organizational requirements, directly impacting sustainment of the company's third-party certifications to applicable protocols, including GSFI-benchmarked and ISO-based. You will promote awareness of customer requirements and be instrumental in resolving matters pertaining to quality, helping to maintain GXO's superior levels of product/service conformity. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Manage quality processes and related systems to ensure security, control, and availability of documentation and training material to all personnel
- Train management staff and site personnel to effectively use quality systems enterprise-wide policies and practices
- Interpret requirements of international standards and their applicability to individual sites; review and analyze processes and other requirements (regulatory, customer), to ensure compliance to international standards
- Support site-specific programs to ensure policies, procedures, and work instructions are properly adhered to and in compliance with active management system standards
- Support sites in conducting internal audits and representing the company during customer and external certification audits and regulatory compliance assessments
- Contribute to discussions of continuous improvement opportunities in addressing root cause for identified issues
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices for all associates and site visitors
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience or military experience
- 1+ years of relevant work experience in quality management
- Familiarity with FDA regulations (Title 21 CFR Parts 111, 117, 507, 820, 1271)
- Familiarity and ability to work in a typical warehouse and office environment
- Availability to travel up to 30% - 40% of the time
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in quality management
- Audit experience desired with GFSI-benchmarked protocols and/or ISO13485
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
