Food Service Delivery Worker

You area hands-on team leader who thrives in managing daily operations and coordinating tasks on-site. In this role, you'll ensure projects run smoothly, oversee crew activities, and keep everything on track for successful completion

This position pays: $19.26

Schedule 6:00am to 2:30pm

Location: Santa Rosa CA

What you will be doing:

• Packages meals to be delivered to various schools by preparing food items and bagging/boxing correct amount of foods and supplies.
• Loads and unloads deliveries for assigned sites and makes deliveries as assigned.
• Picks up all equipment and supplies to be returned to production kitchen. Returns equipment/supplies to assigned area.
• Operates food service vehicles to make deliveries at assigned sites
• Assists in the cleaning and maintaining of transport kitchen as necessary
• Counts and gathers supplies for daily deliveries. Check loads for accuracy before leaving for delivery
• Receives deposits from sites and transports back to central kitchen
• Performs monthly safety inspections and completes required records.
• Fuels vehicle, checks fluids, and cleans/maintains vehicles as needed.
• Performs other related duties.

What you bring:

• High school equivalent
• Preferred experience in food service/production
• CA driver’s license
• Mandated Reporter Certificate
• Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
• Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing (internal or external) customer services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Education and Training — Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
