Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Director to oversee our dining operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong background in food safety and customer service.
Duties
- Develop and implement dining service standards to ensure high-quality customer experiences
- Manage all aspects of food preparation, kitchen operations, and restaurant management
- Oversee menu planning, ordering, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality products
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the unit by delegating work and providing direction to staff, in order to ensure that all tasks are completed to deliver services and production at the expected level
- Coordinate scheduling of unit staff to ensure there is adequate coverage to deliver against expectations
- Manage costs to stay within unit budget
