About the Job
- The Food Service Worker assists in the preparation of patient meals ensuring compliance to therapeutic diet orders, patient safety modifications, and proper patient identification.
- Assembles, serves, delivers, and retrieves patient meals.
- Records patient meal information as assigned.
- Processes and delivers floor stock orders throughout the organization to support the nutritional needs of our patients.
- Participates as a member of the Nutrition Service team working in the dish room, performing cleaning procedures, and organizing and putting away department inventory and supply.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- ServSafe Certification - preferred
- Prior work experience in food services
