DutiesYou will serve as policy analyst and advisor to the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy and the Senior Director for Policy on security cooperation strategy and policy.You will develop and coordinate international affairs and security cooperation policies, plans, and programs supporting the Navy's engagement with international partners and Allies.You will lead, participate, or manage working groups or task forces on strategy and policy development, analysis and security cooperation planning.You will constantly review all sources of information, intelligence, and public information concerning security cooperation policy issues and identify items for action.You will represent the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy (Policy) at departmental and interagency meetings.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check

Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience developing policies, plans, and programs associated with Security Cooperation effortsExperience providing policy recommendations and analysis to government leaders regarding Security Cooperation strategy and policyExperience preparing executive summaries on Security Cooperation strategy, policy and reformsExperience preparing and delivering briefings to high level government offices regarding Security Cooperation issues
