Since 1983, RJ Electric has established itself in Orange County as an electrical contractor, specializing in industrial and commercial electrical design, service, and installations covering Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, and San Bernardino Counties. We have immediate openings for foreman electricians to run small to medium-sized projects. This is a great opportunity to join our growing team as a Foreman Electrician in the southern California area. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of all phases of projects (from beginning to close out) on time within budget and within scope.
- Works mostly independently but receives support from a Project Manager on specific assignments, objectives, complex features, and possible solutions.
- Performs quality control review of design, calculations, specifications, or drawings
- Implement safety protocols to protect yourself, the job site and maintain a safe environment for all
- Document and manage daily progress, changes, or modifications to the project scope
- Willingness to travel, accommodations will be provided
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of the construction principles/practices and of other trades, not limited to electrical.
- Thorough understanding of electrical drawings, wire diagrams, schematics, and specifications
- Solid knowledge of electrical codes and installation methods
- Must be able to work independently and/or manage a small crew
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., work on elevated heights, and in extreme temperatures
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated and desire to work in a team environment
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal communication and writing skills, between the field and office
- Professional appearance and good customer service
- Knowledge of the control and repair of circuits and motors
- Possess a clean and valid driver's license

Experience:
- State-certified journeyman electrician
- Must be in the electrical trade for at least 5 – 10 years
- Currently running small projects for 2 – 6 years
