Forensic Accountant - Commercial Property - AmTrust Financial Services, Inc.

• Lead forensic evaluation / analysis of time element claims, including business interruption, extra expense, and inventory loss.
• Work in partnership with adjusters, insureds, finance, and others to quantify and evaluate damages or losses sustained.
• Create and deliver training materials to develop the skills of Commercial Property adjusters.
• Management and evaluation of outside accounting resources.
• Collaboration with underwriting and other business partners to provide subject matter expertise.
• Keeps current with market trends and demands.
• Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Required:

• 5+ years of prior experience measuring time element claims
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Strong focus delivering outstanding customer service
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
• Candidate must be able to work independently and be able to manage a fluctuating claim load

Preferred:

• CPA a plus
• Certified Fraud Examiner and/or Certified Financial Forensics designations
• Easily adapts to new or changing situations, requirements, or priorities
• Ability to travel to internal and external meetings as business needs arise
