Forklift Driver - K&N Engineering

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Ensure shipments are completed in a timely and effective manner.
• Assist timely accurate loading and unloading of freight, inbound and outbound.
• Maintain the integrity of products through proper handling and storage.
• Maintain accurate inventories.
• Ensure safe operation of forklifts.
• Follow direction from supervisor, lead or team members.
• Ensure facility maintenance through housekeeping, keeping product and facility secure, and maintaining the assets of the facility.
• Assist other work areas whenever needed, internal and external.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Skills & Education:

• Standing for 8 – 10 hours a day.
• Basic math skills and problem-solving skills.
• Multi-tasking.
• Able to follow instructions.
• High regard to quality and accuracy.
• High regard to housekeeping.
• Team player with organizational skills.
• Ability to lift or move products up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to drive forklift/hand truck and maintain certification(s).
• Must be able to interact with internal and external counterparts.
• Basic computer knowledge and machine interface.
• Work up to 8 hours in a non-climate-controlled environment.
