Huntsman is seeking a Forklift Operator supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in Arlington, Texas. This position will report to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.
Job Scope
Transport, stage, load finished materials onto trucks headed out to warehouses and customers. Unload trucks with incoming materials. Assist with the movement of raw and finished product between dock, production floor and storage areas.
As the Forklift Operator, you will:
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, etc.
- Safely load/unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Move materials within warehouse using forklifts and other equipment.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate inventory counts for inbound/outbound shipments.
- Inspect & maintain forklifts & other equipment reporting any issues or malfunctions.
- Follow safety procedures & guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Lift heavy objects and perform physical demanding tasks.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications
- The candidate must possess a high school degree.
- 1+ years of sit-down forklift and pallet jack experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Skills to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.
- Team player with strong communication skills to coordinate with other members and supervisors/members of management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Work performed in a combination of warehouse and chemical manufacturing environments.
- Fast-paced environment especially end of month
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils and etc.
- Forklift use required.
- Be able to lift 50 + lbs on a continuous basis, must be able to make repetitive movements for a long period of time, walking, standing, able to wear a breathing mask, able to work around chemicals, walking up and downstairs, lift items overhead, bending.
