Openwork is excited to assist a leading client in their search for a highly skilled Forklift Operator to enhance their logistics team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for experienced operators to work in a high-energy, fast-paced warehouse environment. If you're proficient in forklift operations and fluent in Spanish or Mandarin, we'd love for you to bring your talents to our growing team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a range of forklifts (counterbalance, reach trucks, pallet jacks) to transport materials and products efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring accurate handling and storage of goods.
- Perform daily equipment inspections, identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Assist in managing inventory by organizing and storing products in designated areas, ensuring accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications:
- Forklift operator certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience in forklift operation within a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin is required for effective interaction with our diverse workforce.
