This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.
Responsibilities:
- Carefully and accurately move products into and/or out of warehouse locations using a sit-down forklift.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper stacking and securement of products.
- Transport products throughout the facility using powered industrial equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Dependable with reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
- People-oriented and able to work well in a team environment.
- Safety-minded with a focus on careful and controlled work.
- Achievement-oriented with a willingness to take on challenges.
- Autonomous and able to work with little direction.
- Process-oriented with the ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Must have steel-toed work boots that come up 6 inches above the ankle.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
