Location: Onalaska, WI

Schedule:  Monday – Thursday, 5:00pm - 3:30am

Salary: $19.25 - $23.00 per hour + $3/hour shift differential, wage increase eligible twice annually!

Purpose & Summary:  The Forklift Operator is a critical part of our production team. They will deliver essential material to our production team members.  This Forklift Operator will also help to manage the organization of material within the warehouse. They will also spend a portion of their time assisting the production team with their daily workload. While the Forklift Operator performs a variety of warehouse tasks, basic Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Operating a forklift
• Sorting warehouse materials
• Maintaining forklifts
• Weighing Materials
• Cleaning the warehouse

Requirements:  High School Diploma or equivalent required combined with a minimum of one year of warehouse experience required.  Previous forklift experience is required.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of gas and electric forklift operations.
• Knowledge of standard concepts and procedures of a warehouse.

Skills:

• Basic computer skills.
• Strong work ethic.

Abilities:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to understand warehouse responsibilities.
• Ability to enter account information and complete reports in a computer system.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications:  2 years of forklift experience.  Attention to detail and high awareness of safety practices with forklift and warehouse.  Maintenance or light maintenance knowledge.
