Assist the Forward Planners to process documents as necessary for building permits. Liaison between division and government agencies for permit related applications. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + **DM Maintenance:** Upload required Forward Planning, Land Development and Architectural documents to the Document Management system. Maintain the file system in an organized manner so that documents are readily accessible by Division personnel. Combine and audit for completeness all permit related paperwork that is required per the municipality guidelines. + **Building Permit Coordination:** Prepare all applications to obtain all regulatory permits/licenses and pay fees. Order and monitor receipt of engineering reports/designs/plot plans and assemble the permit application package for applicable municipal entities, including plot plans, building configurations, soils, and grading plans. Submit permit application packages to municipalities and monitor receipt of approvals and permit issuance. + **Interdepartmental Coordination:** Primary contact with construction team for plot plan/permit inquiries. Responsible for notifications to coworkers of approved plans. **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:** **Education** + High School degree or GED required + College degree a plus **Experience** + 3+ years prior administrative experience in a professional environment preferred **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** + Strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple processes. + Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook + Excellent oral and written communications skills. + Ability to connect with people and develop and maintain professional relationships. + Work 8-hour days with flexibility for additional work hours when necessary **Position Location** + The position is located in the KB Home Seattle division office at 320 120th Avenue NE, Suite 202, Bellevue, WA. #LI-onsite **COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:** + **Base Salary:** The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year depending on experience, paid semi-monthly + **Bonus:** This position is eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus + **Benefits include:** + Medical, Dental and Vision + 401K Plan with Company match (vesting percentage based on years of service) + Paid Time Off - vacation (10-20 days per calendar year based on years of service), sick leave, bereavement leave (3-5 days), jury duty (up to 5 days), and paid holidays (11 total per year) + Life Insurance, business travel accident, optional insurance (paid by employee) for disability, supplemental life, AD&D, and critical illness + Monthly mobile phone stipend + Optional Flexible Spending Accounts for healthcare and dependent care Find out why KB Home is attracting and retaining the best employees!
