Job Description: Seeking a senior consultant to support the management team of a recently acquired platform to implement a new instance of Foundation Construction software with target go-live end of December. The company is rapidly expanding and desires a new Foundation resource that will more efficiently support the growing company's additional complexity. Foundation is the company's current ERP.
Project Objectives:
1 Enhance its financial reporting by launching new lob p&l's (by geography, service line). Currently, all revenue is recorded in one FSLI and cogs accounts are similarly aggregated.
2 Increase financial reporting efficiency by automating transactions (intercompany billing, allocations).
3 Improve margin, liquidity and WIP reporting.
4 Strengthening the company's internal controls with customized security, improved data extraction to support account reconciliations, journal entry automation, cash reconciliation improvements, and evidence of management reviews.
5 Management of metadata, other data governance requirements.
6 Financial budgeting and forecasting.
7 Other management reporting.
8 Create roadmap for future integrations of add-ons.
The company desires technical guidance on the following Foundation db design elements (list not comprehensive):
1 New database structure including divisions, departments, geographies.
2 Allocation methodologies for indirect and corporate expenses.
3 Establishment of project class, cost class, cost code.
4 Employee attributes (journeyman, apprentice, office).
5 Job cost overhead allocation methodologies.
6 Chart of accounts.
