What you’ll do:
- Lead all financial analysis of StandardAero’s financials and KPIs, risks/opportunities, support earnings guidance, competitive analysis, monitor macroeconomic drivers impacting business
- Lead process improvement and implement driver-based forecasting throughout the company; help improve forecast accuracy with P&L, BS (Working Capital) and Cash Flow metrics
- Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Planning (LRP) process
- Assist with FP&A integration activities related to acquisitions
- Support the ongoing data requests of the CFO, VP FP&A, and sector CFOs
- Support the preparation & consolidation of monthly reporting packages including management presentations, key performance indicators, forecasts & variance analysis.
- Support implementation of advanced IT tools to improve reporting, planning & data analytics
- Partner cross-functionally/sectors to generate more accurate financial and business reporting (i.e. site and platform level reporting) and to understand drivers vs. prior forecast, plan, and prior year
- Coordinate with Scottsdale leadership team as needed to align with FP&A directives/initiatives
What skills you will require:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in FP&A with proven ability to communicate results to senior executives in a timely manner
- 3+ years of financial leadership at the management level
- Advanced analytical & financial modeling skills
- High degree of proficiency with MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills & ability to multi-task, prioritize and delegate responsibilities in an effective & efficient manner
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and develop ad hoc, unstructured analysis
Preferred characteristics:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or MBA); CPA designation preferred but not required
