About the Job
Position Summary:
The FP&A Manager will play a key role in driving financial planning and analysis activities within the organization
Reporting directly to the [Director of FP&A / CFO], the successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making across the company
This role will work closely with various departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process, working with departmental heads to create and consolidate budgets that align with corporate goals.
Forecasting: Prepare and update rolling forecasts, analyzing variances, and adjusting financial projections to reflect changing business conditions.
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, including profitability analysis, scenario planning, and capital allocation.
Analysis & Reporting: Provide monthly and quarterly financial analysis, including variance analysis, KPI tracking, and performance metrics
Deliver insights to senior management and key stakeholders to drive business performance.
Management Reporting: Compile and present accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and board meetings.
Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify financial impacts, and support decision-making processes.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analyses as required to support business decisions, new initiatives, and executive requests.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, strong Excel skills, and experience with financial software and ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion)
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
Team Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring a team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
